Attestation of conformity of construction products

ÉMI Nonprofit Kft. performs its attestation of construction products conformity activity, in the areas of certification, testing and inspection, on the basis of the European Community Council Directive 89/106/EEC as an organisation assigned by the Ministry of Economy and Transport (No 090/2005) and notified to the European Community (Notified body number 1415).

  • Attestation of conformity of products for System (1) and (1+) by issuing a EC PRODUCT CONFORMITY CERTIFICATE or a PRODUCT CONFORMITY CERTIFICATE
  • Attestation of conformity of factory production control for System (2) and (2+) by issuing a EC FACTORY PRODUCTION CONTROL CERTIFICATE or a FACTORY PRODUCTION CONTROL CERTIFICATE
  •  Attestation of conformity of products for System (3) by issuing an INITIAL TYPE-TESTING REPORT
     

 Fitness for purpose tests

Determination of all those product characteristics which make it possible that in case of proper installation and use of the product properly, the building, into which the product has been incorporated, will meet the essential requirements during the entire service life of the product.
Based on these tests a National Technical Approval (ÉME) or a European Technical Approval (ETA) can be issued.
 

  • Issuing of European Technical Approvals (ETA) as a member of the EOTA. The ETA is a technical specification, which is, in the lack of a harmonized European Standard, elaborated and approved by the members of the EOTA.
  • Issuing of National Technical Approvals (ÉME). The ÉME is a technical specification, which is, in the lack of any other approved technical specifications, issued by an approval body in Hungary.
     

Expert investigations

  • Testing of construction products, including initial type-testing of products or other tests requested by manufacturers.
  • Structural and material tests carried out either on-site or on samples taken and structural model tests.
  • Technical investigation and control of selected work processes during the execution of construction works.
  • Investigation of nuclear facilities.
     

Tasks based on legal provisions

  • Tasks relating to granting of permissions and execution of nuclear facilities as an assigned expert institute
  • Surveillance of organisations and inspectors assigned by the relevant government decree for granting permissions, operation and inspection of lifts and escalators
  • Testing, inspection and certification of fire protection equipments

Tendering operation

The Housing Innovation Division deals with tenders in connection with financial housing supports provided by the state. The division keeps a record of nearly 7000 tenders of which 2000 tenders are currently ongoing. In addition to the tenders called to 2006, the division deals with the following tenders from 1 February 2008.

  • LFP-2008-LA-2: financial support for renewal and modernization of residential buildings built by industrial technologies to achieve lower energy consumption
  • LFP-2008-LA-7: financial support for renewal of single flue collector chimneys (termofor chimneys)
  • LFP-2008-LA-9: financial support for installation of energy consumption control and measuring devices in residential buildings heated by district heating (ÖKO Programme)
